Air Marshal Amosu made the called in Benin City, at the headquarters of Church of God Mission International (CGM) during the 2014 International Youth Summit with theme: “Mandate: Empowered and Commissioned”.
The CAS who was a Guest Speaker at the summit, noted that education is one key way to success for the youth.
He prayed church leaders to support government to improve the standard of education in the country.
According to him, measures should be put in place by the various religious leaders to assist the less privileged people who have passion for education.
Speaking on the tips to success, Air Marshal Amosu urged the youths of the church to be discipline, dedicated and be courageous in their journey towards achieving their aspired goals.
Amosu noted that having the right attitude, prayer and sacrificial giving are the key issues of life.
The CAS, was accompanied by his wife, members of the Armed Forces and their spouses reminded Christians that they are commissioned and empowered for evangelism and to render selfless service to humanity.
On in his remarks, Bishop of Church of God Mission international, Bishop Feb Idahosa admonished the CGM Youths to imbibe all that they learnt during the summit.
Reading from the book of Isaiah 41:10, Bishop Idahosa stated that it would be better for them (Youth) to practice what they had acquired during the summit through skill acquisition programme.
National President of CGM youths, Pastor Osas Obarisiagbon appreciated the Archbishop of the church, Archbishop Magret Idahosa for her contributions towards the development of the church.
High point of the summit was prayer by the Archbishop for the youths and Air Marshal Amosu with his family, awarding of certificate to participants in the skills acquisition programme and songs by guest artists.
